چکیده

A scheme is said leakage resilient if it remains secure even when an adversary is able to learn partial information about some secret values used throughout the lifetime of the system. This recent area appeared because of the need to develop schemes that resist to sidechannel attacks, such as power-consumption, fault or time analyses. Today, there exist a few encryption schemes that implement this security model, notably a leakage-resilient identity-based encryption scheme (IBE): a public-key encryption scheme where the public keys are the identities, and a master key allows the generation of a secret key for each identity.

A New Leakage-Resilient IBE Scheme in the Relative Leakage Model

We propose the first leakage-resilient Identity-Based Encryption (IBE) scheme with full domain hash structure. Our scheme is leakageresilient in the relative leakage model and the random oracle model under the decisional bilinear Diffie-Hellman (DBDH) assumption.

Leakage-Resilient Symmetric Encryption via Re-keying

In the paper, we study whether it is possible to construct an efficient leakage-resilient symmetric scheme using the AES block cipher. We aim at bridging the gap between the theoretical leakage-resilient symmetric primitives used to build encryption schemes and the practical schemes that do not have any security proof against side-channel adversaries. Our goal is to construct an as efficient as...

Leakage Resilient Fully Homomorphic Encryption

We construct the first leakage resilient variants of fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) schemes. Our leakage model is bounded adaptive leakage resilience. We first construct a leakageresilient leveled FHE scheme, meaning the scheme is both leakage resilient and homomorphic for all circuits of depth less than some pre-established maximum set at the time of key generation. We do so by applying id...

Certificate-Based Encryption Resilient to Key Leakage

Certificate-based encryption (CBE) is an important class of public key encryption but the existing schemes are secure only under the premise that the decryption key (or private key) and master private key are absolutely secret. In fact, a lot of side channel attacks and cold boot attacks can leak secret information of a cryptographic system. In this case, the security of the cryptographic syste...

Insecurity of RCB: Leakage-Resilient Authenticated Encryption

Leakage-resilient cryptography is about security in the presence of leakage from side-channels. In this paper, we present several issues of the RCB block cipher mode. Agrawal et al [2] proposed recently RCB as a leakage-resilient authenticated encryption (AE) scheme. Our main result is that RCB fails to provide authenticity, even in the absence of leakage.
